When you need to put a human face on social issues, count on Active Voice to deliver the clear vision and practical tools.
Active Voice works with leading community advocates, educators, policymakers and social entrepreneurs to turn compelling films into powerful resources for positive action. Together, we bring insightful resources and eye-opening events to communities (in person and on the web), campuses, and faith-based settings across America—helping audiences move up the ladder of engagement.

PARTNERING WITH ACTIVE VOICE
There are myriad ways for nonprofits and other groups to get involved with Active Voice campaigns at the local, regional and national level. Our partners incorporate film into cultural events, campus forums, town hall discussions, small-group dialogues and web-based conversations—engaging participants emotionally, and then offering them substantive ways to get involved in the issues. Active Voice collaborates with partners to
- Define project goals. Some films are great tools for cross-sector dialogue; others sharpen public attention on critical issues and provide opportunities to motivate viewers to concrete action. Partners help us determine specific, realistic goals for each project and continue to work with us to steer project activities in the long term.
- Identify target audiences and framing. At the start of every campaign, we consult with experts in the field to identify key audiences and develop targeted strategies, educational resources and promotional tools.
- Extend the reach. Partners help identify communities where projects will have the most resonance and serve a crucial role in engaging new organizations and audiences as the campaign grows.
- Bring the series home. Partners work with us to develop strategically designed events in their communities.
